Mito Red Light MitoPRO 750X takes the higher score here. The panel we would buy with our own money. Six wavelengths, an honest published gap between spectroradiometer and consumer-meter numbers, and a 3-year warranty.
The counter-argument for the Hooga HG300 is straightforward: it costs $550 less. The honest budget panel. Single-chip LEDs, two wavelengths, $199 — and it does not pretend to be anything else.
Put plainly — if your constraint is budget, take the HG300 and put the $550 toward installation, which is the line item most first-time buyers underestimate. If your constraint is that you want to buy once, the MitoPRO 750X is the one you will not be replacing.
