The verdict
Hooga ULTRA750 takes the higher score here. Adds the 810nm deep-tissue band that the PRO line lacks, for $200 over the PRO750. That is the upgrade worth paying for.
It is also the cheaper of the two by $400, which makes this an unusually easy call. The case for the Hooga PRO1500 rests on what it does differently, not on value: Hooga's value proposition is simple: fewer wavelengths, lower price, same physics on the two bands that carry most of the evidence.
Put plainly — unless one of the PRO1500's specific strengths below is the thing you are buying for, take the ULTRA750 and put the $400 toward installation, which is the line item most first-time buyers underestimate.

Strengths
- Two-wavelength simplicity at a lower price than six-wavelength rivals
- Full PRO/ULTRA ladder from $299 to $3,999 lets you size exactly

- Its 189 mW/cm² is a consumer-meter figure by Hooga's own account; no spectroradiometer number to set beside Mito's
- Only 660/850 on PRO - no 810/830 deep band unless you go ULTRA
- Support and documentation are thinner than Mito's
